Dr. Nallareddy founded SynInnova in 2008 to pursue his passion, apply his expertise, and support pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in accelerating drug discovery research. He takes great pride in addressing the challenges involved in establishing and enhancing SynInnova’s reputation in these sectors. Dr. Nallareddy has instilled the core values of quality, reliability, integrity, and collaboration into SynInnova’s culture and business practices.
Prior to founding SynInnova, Dr. Nallareddy served as a Senior Scientist and Team Leader at two prominent contract research organizations (CROs). He played key roles in several collaborations with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies such as Pfizer, Merck, Gilead Sciences, and Anacor. Before entering industry, he was an NSERC-NRC Visiting Fellow in Dr. Prabhat Arya’s group for two years, working in the Chemical Biology Program at the Steacie Institute of Molecular Sciences (SIMS), National Research Council of Canada, Ottawa. His work focused on the diversity-oriented asymmetric synthesis of natural product-inspired benzofuran-based architectures. After completing his graduate studies, he worked for two years with the late Professor A. Srikrishna’s group at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, on the total synthesis of natural products and synthetic methodologies. He earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Sri Venkateswara University under the supervision of late Professor D. Bhaskar Reddy. His research accomplishments have been published in numerous international, peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Baquer was appointed as Head Of Chemistry at SynInnova in July 2025. Previously, he worked over 20 years at two leading CROs in India, collaborating with top pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide.
During his 20-year tenure, he held the position of Director and undertook a range of responsibilities. Dr. Baquer supervised a project team for a European pharmaceutical company and contributed to the identification of two lead molecules as INDs within 3.5 years. He expanded the collaboration from a pilot project to 50 scientists. He was also responsible for managing several smaller FTE and FFS programs.
Before beginning his career, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship in organic chemistry at Umeå University, Sweden, where he worked on synthesizing peptides and long chain glycopeptides for research related to rheumatoid arthritis. He earned his doctorate in organic chemistry at the National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, India, focusing on the synthesis of biologically active compounds. His research work has been published in multiple international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Marc Labroli was appointed Head of Business Development at SynInnova in March 2026. Prior to joining SynInnova, Marc spent over two decades at Merck & Co. and Schering-Plough. Throughout his career, he has been a key contributor to drug discovery programs from initial hit identification through clinical candidate nomination, resulting in over 50 peer-reviewed publications and patents. His work has spanned diverse therapeutic areas, including infectious diseases, oncology, antibacterials, and neuroscience.
Marc has a proven track record in managing external Discovery Chemistry teams, having successfully overseen large groups of external FTEs across international organizations. His experience in project management and multidisciplinary collaboration is instrumental in SynInnova’s mission to provide high-quality chemistry solutions to the global scientific community.
Marc earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia and completed his postdoctoral research at The Scripps Research Institute. He also holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Villanova University. Based in the New Jersey area, Marc remains dedicated to accelerating drug discovery through innovation and operational excellence.

Indusha Nallareddy studied mechanical engineering at the University of Alberta from 2020 to 2025, with 19 months of co-op experience at ATCO. As a co-op student, she managed and prepared pipeline projects for construction to alleviate integrity and operational issues. There, she enjoyed communicating with vendors, contractors, and various cross-functional teams. At SynInnova, she provides communications support to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
