Applications : This is an impurity of Suplatast tosilate, which is an orally administered inhibitor of Th2 cytokines, capable of suppressing both IL-4 and IL-5 production from Th2 cells as well as inhibiting IgE synthesis. Suplatast tosilate functions as an anti-allergic agent and exhibits antiasthmatic, anti-inflammatory, and antifibrotic properties.
