Applications : 1,7-Dimethyluric acid (1-methyl-d₃) is a deuterium labelled version matabolite of Caffeine, which is a central nervous system stimulant of the methylxanthine class. It is the world's most widely consumed psychoactive drug. Antagonist at A1 and A2A adenosine receptors and inhibitor of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases. Mobilizes calcium from intracellular stores and inhibits benzodiazepine binding to GABA receptors.
