Applications : This is a (1S,2S)-diastereomer of Tranylcypromine HCl, which is an irreversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase (MAO) with a rapid onset of activity. It is used as an antidepressant and anxiolytic agent in the clinical treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
