Applications : This is an impurity of Diroximel fumarate, which is an orally active, well-tolerated monomethyl fumarate (MMF) proagent in controlled-release form. Diroximel fumarate is considered pharmacologically equivalent to its active metabolite, Dimethyl fumarate (DMF). With a favourable safety and efficacy profile, Diroximel fumarate shows potential for multiple sclerosis (MS) research. As a Nrf2 activator, it alleviates MGO-induced pain hypersensitivity.
