Applications : This is an advanced key intermediate in the preparation of Minodronate and related analogs, which is a third-generation bisphosphonate used clinically alone or in combination to treat osteoporosis. An inhibitor of farnesyl diphosphate synthase that acts as a bone resorption inhibitor.
