Applications : (3R,5R)-Rosuvastatin lactone is a diastereomer of Rosuvastatin lactone. This is an intermediate in the preparation of Rosuvastatin analogs. Rosuvastatin is very effective in lowering low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, triglycerides, and C-reactive protein levels.
