Applications : This is an advanced key intermedate in the synthesis of Coelenterazine and related products, which is a natural product and is found in Jjellyfish. It is widely distributed among marine organisms which can produce bioluminescence by calcium-dependent oxidation mediated by the photoprotein aequorin.
