Applications : This is a rubber oligomer impurity. It is a short-chain polymer that can leach from rubber components and affect product quality, stability, and safety. These impurities, such as specific C13 and C21 compounds found in pharmaceutical rubber stoppers, can react with active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, and proteins, leading to drug degradation, toxicity, or immunogenicity. They form during the manufacturing or processing of rubber and are often identified through extractable and leachable (E&L) studies. This can be used as an E & L reference standard.

Storage : Keep container tightly closed under nitrogen or argon and refrigerate for long-term shelf life.
