Applications : This is an advanced key intermediate in the preparation of Nitrendipine and related analogs. Nitrendipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker. It is used in the treatment of primary hypertension to decrease blood pressure and can reduce the cardiotoxicity of cocaine.
