Applications : This is an impurity of Dezocine, which is a synthetic opioid analgesic used primarily for the management of moderate to severe pain. Dezocine is roughly 3-fold greater potency than morphine, primarily used in China for moderate to severe postoperative and cancer pain. But it was voluntarily withdrawn from the U.S. market in 2011.
