Applications : This is an advanced key intermediate in the synthesis of Resmetirom and related analogs. Resmetirom is a highly selective, orally bioavailable agonist of the thyroid hormone receptor β (THR-β), exhibiting an EC50 value of 0.21 μM. Resmetirom can be used for the study of non-cirrhotic non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.
