Applications : Biotinylation to the anamycin core was achieved through the use of a copper(I)-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar Huisgen cyclo addition (“click”) coupling of biotinylated azides to propargyl marked analogs of anisomycin.This “click”-based strategy might be applicable to a wide range of substrates. Biotinylated azides under standard “click” coupling condition allow the rapid and high-yielding synthesis of biotinylated probes.
