Applications : It is a deuteium labelled analog of 6-Hydroxy-5-methoxyindole glucuronide, which is a natural human metabolite of 6-hydroxy-5-methoxyindole. Glucuronidation is used to assist in the excretion of toxic substances, drugs or other substances that cannot be used as an energy source. This can be used as an internal reference standard in intrarenal metabolomics studies of progression of diabetic kidney disease.
