Applications : 6-Hydroxy doxazosin is a metabolite of Doxazosin, which is an alpha1-adrenoceptor antagonist, used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and hypertension. Alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists also inhibit growth and induce apoptosis in malignant prostatic cells.
