Applications : A‑769662 activates AMPK and independently inhibits 26S proteasome function, producing cell‑cycle arrest. It directly stimulates rat liver AMPK (EC₅₀ = 0.8 µM) and blocks fatty‑acid synthesis in primary hepatocytes (IC₅₀ = 3.2 µM). Through these metabolic effects, A‑769662 improves pathological features of metabolic disorders such as type 2 diabetes.
