Applications : This is an impurity of Semaglutide, which is a long-acting, selective GLP-1R agonist that crosses the blood-brain barrier. It stimulates insulin secretion, reduces gastric emptying and appetite, enhances autophagy, and inhibits oxidative stress and apoptosis. Semaglutide also modulates mitochondrial function and lipid metabolism, including lowering de novo lipogenesis in the liver. Its effects include reducing blood sugar and weight, providing neuroprotection, and improving hepatic steatosis. Semaglutide is used in research on type 2 diabetes, obesity, Parkinson's disease, MASLD, and cancer.
