Applications : Alverine hydrochloride is a 5-HT1A receptor antagonist, with an IC50 of 101 nM. It is used to treat muscle spasms and related pain in the stomach and intestines, primarily for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and diverticular disease.
