Applications : AMG-131 benzenesulfonate selectively modulates PPARγ through a non‑TZD scaffold. It binds in the TZD pocket but occupies a unique region and contacts different residues than classical TZDs, giving rise to a distinct SPPARM activity profile. It is widely used in type‑2 diabetes research.
