Applications : Amitriptyline‑d₆ hydrochloride is a deuterium labelled version of Amitriptyline hydrochloride, enabling enhanced LC–MS detection and metabolic tracing. The parent compound is an orally active TCA that potently blocks SERT and NET, activates α₂A and TrkA/TrkB receptors, and exhibits anti‑inflammatory and anti‑fibrotic effects. Amitriptyline hydrochloride also binds DAT, antagonizes muscarinic M₁–M₅, H₁, and α₁‑adrenergic receptors, and blocks sodium and hERG channels, contributing to both therapeutic and adverse pharmacology.
