Applications : Antofloxacin is an orally active, well-tolerated, and broad-spectrum 8-amino-fluoroquinolone with strong antibacterial properties. It demonstrates superior effectiveness against gyrA mutation-positive H. pylori strains, particularly those with Asn87 mutations, when compared to Levofloxacin. Additionally, Antofloxacin acts as a weak, reversible inhibitor of CYP1A2 and is used in research on infections caused by various bacterial species.
