Applications : It is a deuterium labelled analog of Artemether, a derivative of Artemisinin, which is an anti-malarial drug used for the treatment of multiple drug-resistant strains of Plasmodium falciparum malaria. It can be used as an internal reference standard for drug metabolic and safety studies.
