Applications : This is a potent aminobutanoic‑acid–based ASCT2 inhibitor that blocks glutamine uptake in A549 and HEK293 cells at micromolar potency. It disrupts amino‑acid metabolism, suppresses mTOR signaling, inhibits NSCLC growth, and induces apoptosis. In vivo, it delivers strong antitumor efficacy in A549 xenografts with 65% TGI at 25 mg/kg, outperforming V‑9302, and shows promising activity in patient‑derived organoids, underscoring its potential as a glutamine‑metabolism‑targeting therapy for NSCLC.
