Applications : Ataciguat activates the oxidized (ferric) form of sGC independently of nitric oxide, enhancing cGMP synthesis and promoting vasodilation. Its redox‑sensitive activation profile makes it useful for investigating dysfunctional NO–sGC signaling in cardiovascular disease.
