Applications : Avasimibe inhibits ACAT1 and ACAT2 with IC₅₀ values of 24 µM and 9.2 µM, respectively, and is orally active. Its ability to disrupt cholesterol esterification makes it a useful tool for investigating metabolic regulation and tumor progression in prostate cancer models.
