Applications : AZ-9567 potently inhibits MAT2A allosterically (pIC₅₀ = 9.1), reducing SAM production and SDMA levels while exerting antiproliferative effects in MTAP‑knockout cells. Its metabolic impact includes SAM depletion, methionine buildup, and disruptions in one‑carbon and lipid metabolism, leading to oxidative stress and hepatic steatosis. AZ-9567 is widely used to study MTAP‑deficient cancer biology.
