Applications : BAY‑293 inhibits SOS1 with nanomolar potency (IC₅₀ = 21 nM) and prevents KRAS–SOS1 complex formation, thereby suppressing SOS1‑driven RAS activation. As a selective probe of SOS1 function, it is widely used to study RAS‑regulated oncogenic signaling.
