Applications : BAY‑876 selectively inhibits GLUT1 with low‑nanomolar potency (IC₅₀ = 2 nM) and shows >130‑fold selectivity over other GLUT isoforms. It blocks glycolysis, reduces ovarian cancer proliferation, and induces disulfidptosis by promoting disulfide‑bond formation in actin cytoskeletal proteins.
