Applications : Biotinylated lipid prodrugs of Acyclovir (ACV) target the sodium dependent multivitamin transporter (SMVT) on the cornea to facilitate enhanced cellular absorption of ACV and evaluated as potential drug candi- dates against various herpes viruses.
