Applications : BRD-6989, a synthetic analog of cortistatin A, selectively inhibits CDK8 (IC₅₀ ≈ 200 nM) and suppresses the kinase activity of both CDK8 and CDK19 complexes. Functionally, it increases IL‑10 expression, supporting its use in studies of CDK8/19‑regulated transcriptional pathways.
