Applications : Bromosporine functions as a potent BET inhibitor and PCAF antagonist (IC₅₀ = 2.1 µM). It triggers cell‑cycle arrest and apoptosis in tumor cells and synergizes with 5‑fluorouracil to produce strong antitumor effects in vivo. In HIV‑1 latency models, Bromosporine enhances CDK9 activation and promotes viral reactivation. It is widely applied in studies of colorectal cancer, AML, and HIV/AIDS biology.
