Applications : Carubicin is a compound of microbial origin. It effectively inhibits proliferation of VHL-defective (VHL−/−) CCRCC cells. Additionally, carubicin induces apoptosis through a mechanism that does not depend on p53 or hypoxia-inducible factor HIF2. Carubicin may be valuable for cancer research applications.
