Applications : This is a highly selective CB2 agonist from a new class of 4‑(1,2,4‑oxadiazol‑5‑yl)azepan‑2‑one derivatives. It shows strong CB2 potency (EC50 = 21.0 nM, Emax = 87%) with excellent selectivity over CB1 (CB1 EC50 > 30 μM; CB1/CB2 > 1428). The compound exhibits favorable pharmacokinetics and delivers significant analgesic efficacy in a rodent inflammatory‑pain model. These properties position this compound as a promising lead CB2 agonist for treating inflammatory pain and warrant further in‑depth development.
