Applications : This is a potent and selective CD38 inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 11 nM) that elevates NAD⁺ levels and improves mitochondrial function. In Pus1⁻/⁻ mitochondrial‑myopathy mice, it restores running endurance, boosts muscle NAD⁺, increases Nrf2, and lowers lactate. With strong in vivo efficacy, favorable PK, and good safety, this compound is a promising therapeutic lead for NAD⁺/mitochondrial‑related disorders.
