Applications : Cefadroxil is an oral broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis and enhances glutamate transporter-1 expression. Cefadroxil is dependent on the intestinal peptide transporter PepT1 for small intestinal absorption. Cefadroxil is effective against various Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and also provides analgesic effects for neuropathic pain.
