Applications : This is an impurity of Ceftazidime, which is an antibiotic with broad-spectrum activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative aerobic bacteria. Ceftazidime is also effective against Enterobacteriaceae, including β-lactamase-producing strains, and demonstrates resistance to hydrolysis by most β-lactamases.
