Applications : CMP‑5 dihydrochloride selectively targets PRMT5, inhibiting S2Me‑H4R3 formation on histone substrates and displaying no measurable activity against PRMT1, PRMT4, or PRMT7. Functionally, it blocks EBV‑driven B‑cell transformation while leaving normal B cells unaffected.
