Applications : It is a deuterium labelled analog of Curcumin-dialkyne, a biochemical for the synthesis of bifunctional Curcumin derivatives via click chemistry useig [3+2] azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction to make Curcumin conjugates for therapeutic applications. It may also be possible to synthesize and screen a range of carbohydrate derivatives of Curcumin to optimize brain uptake of the carbohydrate conjugates via the glucose transport mechanism .
