Applications : It is a mixed 13C and 15N double labelled conjugate of Sulforaphane and Glutathione (Glycine-13C2,15N) . In vivo, sulforaphane conjugates with glutathione during metabolism. In animal models of prostate cancer, this conjugate displays antioxidative and anticancer chemotherapeutic activities, increasing levels of heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1), Nrf2, activated caspase 3, cleaved PARP, and Bax, decreasing levels of Keap1, Bcl-xl, 4E-BP1, mTOR, and cyclin D1, and slowing tumor growth.
