Applications : This is an impurity or metabolite of Palonosetron, which is a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist primarily indicated for the prevention of acute, delayed, and overall chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Palonosetron demonstrates moderate anti-flavivirus activity and exhibits strong anti-Zika virus effects in mammalian cell models. Additionally, Palonosetron has been found to possess antidepressant properties.
