Applications : DBCO-PEG4-biotin conjugate is very effective reagent for rapid copper-free click chemistry, that can label biomolecules rapidly and selectively in living systems, overcoming the intrinsic toxicity of the canonical Cu-catalyzed reaction.The PEG spacer makes compound more water soluble and reduces steric hindrance from the reaction site with the azide and the biotin detecting group.
