Applications : Dihydrocapsaicin (DHC), a saturated structural analog of capsaicin, induces autophagy in human cancer cells in a catalase-regulated manner. DHC was founde to be more cytotoxic than capsaicin in HCT116, MCF-7 and WI38 cell lines.
