Applications : Doxazosin is an alpha1-adrenoceptor antagonist. It is used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and hypertension. Alpha-adrenoceptor antagonists also inhibit growth and induce apoptosis in malignant prostatic cells.
