Applications : It is an intermediate in the synthesis of Curcumin-d6, which is the labelled fragment of Curcumin. It is in clinical trials in humans and studying the effect of Curcumin on various diseases, including multiple myeloma, pancreatic cancer, myelodysplastic syndromes, colon cancer, psoriasis, arthritis, major depressive disorder and Alzheimer's disease.
