Applications : It is an intermediate in the synthesis of Curcumin-β-D-glucuronide and Curcumin-β-D-di-glucuronide, which is in clinical trials in humans and studying the effect of Curcumin on various diseases, including multiple myeloma, pancreatic cancer, myelodysplastic syndromes, colon cancer, psoriasis, arthritis, major depressive disorder and Alzheimer's disease.
