Applications : This crosses the blood–brain barrier and inhibits EBP sterol isomerase activity, producing Zymostenol buildup and demonstrating strong brain target binding after repeated administration. It inhibits human ERG channels (IC₅₀ = 8.2 µM) and promotes oligodendrocyte generation in human cortical organoids, making it a valuable tool for multiple sclerosis research.
