Applications : Encequidar hydrochloride is an orally active and highly potent P‑gp inhibitor (IC₅₀= 0.63 nM) that enhances the bioavailability of P‑gp substrates. It strongly suppresses paclitaxel efflux across MDCK monolayers (IC₅₀ = 35.4 nM), making it a valuable tool for studying transporter‑mediated drug disposition and MDR1‑driven resistance.
