Applications : N-Methyldopamine hydroiodide acts as a precursor to adrenaline in the adrenal medulla. It is a modified form of dopamine (DA), maintaining agonist activity at the DA1 receptor. N-Methyldopamine hydroiodide can still universally coat surfaces and engage in secondary reactions through its surface catechols. Additionally, it has applications in heart failure research.
