Applications : EU‑1622‑1 is a pan‑NMDAR positive allosteric modulator (PAM) that reduces conductance and calcium permeability across all GluN2‑containing NMDA receptors while showing minimal activity on AMPA receptors. This thienopyrimidinone derivative is used as a tool compound to probe NMDA receptor gating, calcium flux, and allosteric modulation mechanisms.
