Applications : Flavoxate is a potent, competitive inhibitor of phosphodiesterase (PDE) and acts as both an antispasmodic agent and a muscarinic mAChR antagonist. It demonstrates moderate calcium antagonistic properties along with local anesthetic effects. Flavoxate may be utilized in research pertaining to overactive bladder (OAB) and lower urinary tract infections.
